Patent för medicinsk behandling godkänt av PMÖD

Patent and Market Court of Appeal has rejected a claim for invalidation of a patent and supplementary protection certificate, which was requested by a rival firm. The patent concerns a certain medical treatment and was previously rejected by the Swedish Patent and Registration Office and the case over the same was appealed by the competitor. The court said that there was not enough reason to invalidate the patent or the supplementary protection certificate. The decision is binding and cannot be appealed.
