Bostadsköpare vinner tvist mot entreprenörsfirma

A Swedish court has ordered a real estate developer to pay SEK776,000 ($91,000) to a homebuyer over delays in the construction of a new apartment. The dispute centred on a Stockholm property, where the buyer expected to move in during November 2017, but was delayed by construction and permit processes. The contract specified the vendor had certain obligations and a fixed timeframe to complete them. The court ruled the vendor's behaviour was careless and the purchaser had incurred costs due to the delays.
